Discover God in the Sacraments of the Church

God our Father continues to form us into His image and likeness through the 7 Sacraments of the Church.  Beginning with Baptism, we are initiated into a faith that is vibrant and alive with hope and meaning.  As we move through our childhood First Reconciliation and Holy Communion and realize the fullness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit in Confirmation, we are then propelled into the adult journey of a spiritual life that transforms us, molds us, and helps to recreate the world into the image of God's desire. The Sacraments are sacred signs through which Jesus gives us His Spirit and makes us holy and pleasing to him by grace.  Jesus Christ gave us the Sacraments and continues to give them to us through His mystical body, the Church.  As visible signs of the invisible love of God, the Sacraments cleanse, renew and refresh us as the Body of Christ so that we can share in His mystical presence in the world.
Each of the seven sacraments imparts a particular sacramental grace of the Holy Spirit, transforming us and uniting us together as one body in Christ.
